My home was built in 1956. I don't think anything had been done to update the bath since then. I did my due diligence and had 3 companies come to my home, describe their products and procedures, and give estimates of the cost. I actually signed a contract with the second company just before Ron, J.R. Bath's rep, came to my home. I pretty much had my mind made up and told Ron this when he arrived but still wanted to hear what he had to say. Well, after talking to him I went straight to the bank and stopped payment on my check and cancelled the contract with the other company. Not only did Ron give a great presentation but explained what would be done and how. I had contracted with the other company for a shell over the old tub, plain white tub and smooth white surround. I know, I know boooooring right?? With J.R. Luxury Bath they tore out the old aqua cast iron tub and all the seafoam green ceramic tile...down to the studs. They replaced it with a biscuit-colored tub and a surround that is textured and looks like granite.....Canyon Rock, for your information, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and grab bar. WOW!!! It looks like a million bucks!! AND they beat the pants off the other two companies at pricing!!!! Did I mention they even raised the shower head to today's standards so anyone taller than a mouse could shower in comfort? My old cast iron tub was so pitted and ugly I wouldn't get in it to take a bath....showers only for me....and I love a good soak...but, no go with the old tub...yuck!!! Now I luxuriate in the tub with wonderful smells and spa treatments.....ahhhhhh...does wonders for the old aches and pains. Chad was my installer. He made the process painless. Not only was he pleasant with a great sense of humor but he sure is easy on the eyes, too!! Woops....sorry! He left everything spic and span when he was done with the job and he explained how everything worked and taught me how to make sure my bath looks like new in years to come. Along the way we has a small snafu in the process but BAM John the owner was right there with with the solution to make me a very happy camper.....errrrr I mean bather. All in all a pleasant and very rewarding experience that makes me smile everytime I step in the tub!!
I love my new bath!! In fact, the experience was so great, we are now redoing Dad's bath. He is 96 this month and he is getting a bath where he can just walk right into the shower....no stepping up nor stepping over anything. The staff are friendly and professional at the same time. I would recommend their bath remodeling to all in need of a new bathroom.
They did a complete bathroom remodel in my home and I was very pleased excellent job. They do excellent plumbing work best I have ever seen. I am happy I had this done well worth the money don't think anybody could have done a better job.
The young man that did the work was very pleasant and prompt. He cleaned up every day. He asked my opinion where to install the plumbing hardware. The end result is stunning. It is beautiful, I am so happy that I d this done. I would recommend JR bath to everyone.
I am so happy to finally have a large, light shower space! My bathroom is small and now I have a shower that is spacious and light. It is so much easier to clean. It makes the whole room look bigger and better. The young man that did the work was pleasant, and was very efficient. He did a wonderful job! He explained exactly what he would do and asked my opinion on where fixtures should be placed. I would recommend this company to everyone! Great job guys!!
Chad and Matt are two very polite and courteous installers. They keep me informed about what they were doing and they were understanding also. I wish all installers were like them.
Without J.R. Luxury Bath and Eric's willingness to tackle a complete remodel in an 1876 home, this job would have never been done. I have done a most of the remodeling in my home myself but had no idea how to do this job because of plumbing lines and vent tubes running right thru the middle of the room. Eric takes one look and says, "Yes, I can reroute that vent line', which would have been a nightmare for me... I hired him on the spot. Not one other contractor would even consider this job. Then to cut costs, Eric had no problem with me doing some of the work. I gutted everything, floor to ceiling; Eric did electrical, reran plumbing and vent lines and put the floor back down; then it was my job to do all drywall work and painting; he finished by installing the sink, shower, toilet, tub, heated towel rack and installing all lights, outlets and switches and roof vent. It was all on a time schedule and Eric stuck to it by being at my home exactly when he said he would. Communication was constant and phone calls were always answered. I appreciate all the suggestions he made and we worked well together. I would recommend JR Luxury Bath to anyone needing a remodel. Great company, honest, on time, and a pleasure to work with.
We love our tub to shower conversion! Eric and Chad removed our old tub and surround before installing a new shower pan, new surround walls, new shower head and new glass door! They even had to do a bit of plumbing work to move the drain, shower head and faucet but it all turned out great! Our new shower is huge and spacious with amble corner shelving space.
They completely removed our old, fiberglass shower and replace it with a beautiful new one. They were here on time. Did an excellent job, very professional. Cleaned up completely.
From the initial presentation to the final step of installation absolutely everything exceeded expectations. Highly professional, courteous , knowledgeable, and fair pricing. We simply love our new shower and impressed with the high quality. Would highly recommend J R Luxury Bath for any kitchen or bath project big or small.
